These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DoseBell mobile application ("App") and any related services. By downloading, installing, or using DoseBell, you agree to these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using DoseBell, you confirm that you are at least 17 years old (or have parental consent) and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

DoseBell is a medication reminder application designed to help you track and remember to take your medications. The App provides:

• Medication scheduling and reminders
• Dose tracking and history
• Refill countdown tracking
• Optional iCloud sync across your devices
• Optional caregiver notification features (Pro)

3. Not Medical Advice

DoseBell is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. The App is a reminder tool only. It does not:

• Diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease
• Provide dosage recommendations
• Check for drug interactions
• Replace professional medical advice

Always consult your doctor, pharmacist, or other qualified healthcare provider with questions about your medications. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something related to this App.

4. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Entering accurate medication information
• Ensuring your device notifications are properly configured
• Keeping your device charged and accessible
• Verifying medication schedules with your healthcare provider
• Not relying solely on DoseBell for critical medication timing

5. In-App Purchases

DoseBell offers a one-time in-app purchase ("DoseBell Pro") that unlocks additional features. All purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions. Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law or Apple's refund policies.

6. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we handle your information. In short: we collect no personal data, and your medication information stays on your device and in your personal iCloud account.

7. Intellectual Property

DoseBell and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

DoseBell is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

• The App will be uninterrupted or error-free
• Notifications will always be delivered on time
• The App will meet your specific requirements

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Missed or late medication doses
• Health complications related to medication timing
• Loss of data
• Device malfunction or notification failures

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for DoseBell Pro, if any.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using DoseBell at any time by deleting the App. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App for violations of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of South Australia, Australia.
