Why don't I hear the alarm?
DoseBell uses Critical Alerts to break through Silent and Focus modes, but this requires special permission. Go to Settings → DoseBell → Notifications and make sure Critical Alerts is enabled. Also check that your device volume is turned up.
How do I sync between devices?
DoseBell automatically syncs via iCloud. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID on all devices, and that iCloud is enabled for DoseBell in Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Apps Using iCloud.
Can I manage medications for multiple people?
Yes! With DoseBell Pro, you can create multiple profiles to manage medications for family members, pets, or anyone you care for. Each profile has its own medications, schedules, and history.
How do Caregiver Alerts work?
Caregiver Alerts (Pro feature) let you share minimal status updates with a trusted person. They receive a notification if you miss a dose. You control exactly what's shared, and the data goes directly to their device via iCloud—not through any server.
What happens if I travel across time zones?
DoseBell handles time zones intelligently. For most schedules, reminders adjust to local time. For interval-critical medications (like some birth control), you can enable "Travel Mode" to keep reminders on a fixed UTC offset regardless of where you are.
How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
In the app, go to Settings → DoseBell Pro → Restore Purchase. Make sure you're signed into the same Apple ID that made the original purchase.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. Your medication data is stored only on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We have no servers and cannot access your data. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I delete all my data?
You can delete all data by deleting the app from your device. To also remove iCloud data, go to Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Manage Storage → DoseBell and delete the data.
